Hi, I’m Jaimeson, MA, LPC, PMH-C- licensed therapist and founder of Jaimeson Counseling.
I help people across Missouri heal from pregnancy loss, infertility, perinatal trauma, and other reproductive challenges that often go unseen—and unsupported.
This work is my passion and sacred to me.
There are many spaces and support for those whose journey to parenthood go according to plan- not so many when it doesn’t. I am here to show up for those in the dark spaces of grief that come with pregnancy loss, infertility, and perinatal trauma when others aren’t.
Welcome
This work is deeply personal to me because I am a loss parent and IVF warrior myself. Throughout my own journey, I discovered how difficult it was to find a counselor who got it.
Over the years, I’ve worked with so many people who’ve felt invisible in their pain. Maybe you've been told to "just stay positive" or "at least you know you can get pregnant." Maybe people around you don’t understand why you’re still sad—or why you’re not ready to try again.
I created Jaimeson Counseling to be a place where all of that is welcome. A place where you can show up exactly as you are and say the hard things out loud, without being judged or rushed.
Why I Do This Work
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri
Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International
Experienced and trained in working with pregnancy loss, infertility, and perinatal trauma
Trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)—an evidence-based treatment for trauma
My Credentials
Therapy with me is a safe, supportive space where you can bring all of yourself—your grief, your fears, your numbness, and your hope (or lack of it). I meet you exactly where you are, and together, we work toward healing in a way that feels grounded, respectful, and personal to you.
I use an eclectic approach, meaning I draw from several effective therapy models depending on what best fits your needs. No two sessions—or two clients—are ever the same. Here's how that might look:
Narrative Therapy helps us explore how you're making sense of what’s happened. We look at the story you’ve been telling yourself—maybe about your body, your worth, or your future—and begin to re-author it in a way that feels more true and empowering.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you make space for difficult emotions and reconnect with what matters most to you, even when life hasn’t gone the way you hoped or expected.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps us notice and gently shift unhelpful thought patterns that might be fueling anxiety, shame, or guilt.
Mindfulness techniques support staying grounded in the present moment, especially during times when your mind feels overwhelmed or your nervous system is on high alert.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, research-backed therapy for trauma. It helps the brain and body process painful memories in a way that reduces emotional distress—without needing to relive every detail. I offer virtual EMDR sessions so you can access this healing modality from anywhere in Missouri.
Whether we’re working through a traumatic birth, years of infertility, or the heartbreak of pregnancy loss, you can expect our work together to be collaborative, compassionate, and paced to match your capacity. There’s no rush here. Just steady, supported healing.
You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to walk beside you, with curiosity, kindness, and tools that actually work.
